Notice to Mariners

Hudson River – Troy

July 12, 2018

 

Mariners are advised that the Green Island Lift Bridge over the Hudson River in Troy that was announced in a June 25th Notice to Mariners to be inoperable through July 13th due to construction activities, will reopen on July 14th as scheduled.

The overhead clearance of the Green Island Lift bridge in its closed position is 29 feet at Mean High Water. Tidal information for Troy, NY can be found at https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/noaatidepredictions.html?id=TEC1603&legacy=1

Mariners requesting the bridge be lifted must call (518) 724-7586 or (518) 461-0942 24 hours in advance.
