Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal & eastern Erie Canal

July 2, 2018

Mariners are advised of the following extended hours at the following Champlain Canal and eastern Erie Canal Locks to accommodate various Independence Day holiday week events:

Tue, July 3^rd: Lock E8 open until 10pm for US Waterski Team Show in Scotia.
Wed, July 4^th: E7 & E8 until 11pm for Mohawk Harbor concert & fireworks, Schenectady.
Wed, July 4^th: C1 until 11pm for Empire State Plaza Fireworks, Albany.
Thu, July 5^th: E21 & E22 until 11pm for fireworks, Sylvan Beach.
Sat, July 7^th: C1 until 11pm for Steamboat Meet fireworks, Waterford.
Sat, July 7^th: E8 until 10pm for Mohawk Harbor Concert, Schenectady.
Sat, July 7^th: E21 & E22 until 9PM for Corning Museum Glass Barge/Lois McClure, Sylvan Beach.
Sun, July 8^th: E21 & E22 until 8pm for Corning Museum Glass Barge/Lois McClure, Sylvan Beach.
