Notice to Mariners

Oneida Lake – Sylvan Beach

June 27, 2018

Mariners are advised of a personal watercraft (jetski) closed course race event occurring off Sylvan Beach all day Saturday, June 30^th and Sunday, July 1^st. Spectator vessels are to stay at least 200’ from the course, which is marked with large yellow & red round buoys along with smaller white buoys delineating the northern boundary of the course. This event occurs north of the breakwater, outside of the Erie Canal channel, but at the destination of much local canal traffic.
