Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Lockport & Brockport

May 17, 2018

 

Mariners are advised of rip-rap stone placed in the navigation channel adjacent to selected walls, to provide temporary stabilization, in the following locations:

  • City of Lockport - south wall, approximately 750 feet east of Lock E-34/35 (marked with green lateral aids to navigation)

  • Village of Brockport - south wall, immediately east of the Smith St Bridge (marked with green lateral aids to navigation)

    Mariners should stay clear and not attempt to moor in these locations.
