Oneida Lake buoys to be removed & replaced w/ice-resistant spars 11/16

Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Oneida Lake

Mariners are advised that the buoys on Oneida Lake will start to get pulled out for the season on Thursday, November 16th and are being replaced with smaller, ice-resistant spars of the same color marking their locations. Additionally, lit fixed navigational aids will be extinguished and removed for the season.

 

Chart 14786 E-16 and 14788 (same map but larger and more detailed) covering the affected area can be found at spa and spa.
