Champlain Canal

The New York State Canal Corporation is announcing water levels on the Champlain Canal between Locks C-1 & C-2 and C-11 & C-12 will be lowered several feet, starting at dusk on Saturday, October 28th, as preemptive measures are implemented in advance of flooding forecast for the area.

Additional updates will follow if needed.

Residents are encouraged to take any appropriate actions regarding any vessels, docks, or other seasonal structures in these areas which may be impacted or damaged by significantly reduced, or fluctuating, water levels.
