Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal - Village of Waterford & City of Troy

September 19, 2017

 

Mariners are advised that the overhead clearance under the east half of the channel under Champlain Canal Bridge C-2 (126th St/Route 4) in the Village of Waterford, is being reduced by 2' to accommodate suspended scaffolding for bridge rehabilitation starting today.  Taller vessels should pass under the bridge on the west half of the channel, where full overhead clearance is being retained.
