Channel width reduction: Bridge E-8 (State Route 146) over Erie Canal.

Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Rexford

September 8, 2017

 

Mariners are advised of bridge demolition activities at Erie Canal Bridge E-8 (State Route 146).  During the time that the old main truss span over the channel is being disassembled, the channel width will be reduced from 200’ to 75’ to accommodate work barges.  Expect minor delays.
