Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal/Onondaga Lake Outlet – Town of Salina & Geddes

Mariners are advised that starting Tuesday, September 12^th the effective overhead clearance of Bridge E-73A (John Glen Boulevard) over the Onondaga Lake Outlet spur of the Erie Canal will be lowered by approximately 3’ by construction scaffolding that will be suspended from the bridge through the end of the 2017 Navigation Season.  The overhead clearance under Bridge E-73A will remain about a foot higher than the governing overhead clearance for this canal reach which is at Bridge E-74 (Long Branch Road), 0.38 miles upstream.
