Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Stillwater to Halfmoon

September 6, 2017

 

Mariners are advised of a large group paddling event traveling southbound on the Champlain Canal between Admiral’s Marina (mile 12.31, a half mile upstream of Lock C-4) and Lighthouse Park (mile 4.55, one mile upstream of Lock C-1) from approximately 9 AM until 1 PM on Saturday, September 9th.  Expect delays at locks C-4, C-3, C-2 as this group transits through these locks.  Plan itineraries accordingly.

 

Mariners are to proceed around this group slowly and with extreme caution.
