Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Schenectady area

August 31, 2016

Mariners are advised of a drop in water surface elevation of approximately 2.5 feet in the navigation pool between Erie Canal Locks E7 Visher Ferry and E8 Scotia on Monday, September 18th & Tuesday, September 19th. Depths are expected to return to normal within 24-48 hours thereafter.
