Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Syracuse

August 24, 2017

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Locks E-23 Brewerton and E-24 Baldwinsville will be kept open three hours later than usual on the evenings of Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th to accommodate patrons of the Lakeview Amphitheater Concert Series.  These locks will be kept open until 1am the next morning to allow vessels to get back to their home ports.

 

At this time Syracuse Inner Harbor is not available for docking (or overnight transient mooring) of larger recreational vessels due to reduced depths.
