Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Middleport

July 14, 2017

Mariners are advised that the Middleport Lift Bridge (Bridge E-216) on the Erie Canal is inoperable and is fixed in the down position, preventing the passage of vessels. Crews are on site.

Middleport has electric hookups for moored vessels on both the east and west sides of this bridge.
