Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Town of Halfmoon

July 6, 2017

Mariners are advised of two additional green can buoys marking the channel between Locks C-1 Halfmoon and C-2 Mechanicville. They are located across from R “40” and between G “41” & G “43”. These uncharted buoys are temporary.

Mainers are additionally advised that a few red nun and green can buoys between Waterford and Mechanicville on the Champlain Canal are either unnumbered or mis-numbered.
