Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Perinton

May 26, 2017

 

Mariners are advised of bridge repair activities occurring through June 2, 2017 on Erie Canal Bridge E-131, Palmyra Rd, SR 31 over the Erie Canal.  It is expected that a barge will slightly encroach into the channel. The normal overhead clearance will not be affected.

Mariners should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a “No Wake” speed when traversing this area.
