Notice to Mariners

Western Erie Canal – Brockport

August 7, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that a duck derby will occur in Brockport on Sunday, August 9th, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The event will start at the North Main Street Lift Bridge (E-182) in Brockport over the Erie Canal and finish Park Ave. Lift Bridge (E-181). Kayaks will be in the water to collect the ducks.

Boaters may be delayed for a short period of time during the race and should plan their itineraries accordingly.
