NOTICE TO MARINERS
Eastern Erie Canal – Scotia to Rotterdam
July 27, 2026
Update
Mariners are advised that the water level from Erie Canal Lock E-8 in Scotia to Lock E-9 in Rotterdam is approximately 3.5 feet below the normal navigation pool.
Boaters with deeper draft vessels should use caution in this area of the Canal and remain in the navigation channel.
