Cayuga Seneca Canal – Seneca Falls

Mariners are advised of an underwater inspection occurring on the Cayuga Seneca Canal on the following schedule:
- Tuesday, July 21st – Cayuga Seneca Canal Lock CS-2/3 in Seneca Falls – Lock Chamber and surrounding area.
The lock will close to navigation at 10:00am until further notice. It is anticipated that the lock will reopen later the same day. Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly. Updates will follow.
The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters must come to a full stop, use caution, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed, and under no circumstances exceed 5 mph. Boaters must avoid inspection areas.
