Western Erie Canal – May’s Point to Clyde

July 19, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Erie Canal Lock E-25 in May’s Point to Lock E-26 in Clyde that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners will reopen at noon today, July 19th. Boaters should use caution in this area of the Canal as the water level is still recovering to the normal depth.
