Eastern Erie Canal – Crescent to Vischer Ferry

Mariners are advised of a fishing tournament occurring from the Waterford Flight to Erie Canal Lock E-7 in Vischer Ferry on Saturday, July 18th. Fishing boats will be launched from Alcathy’s boat launch, above the Waterford Flight. Approximately 12 fishing boats will be involved in the event.

Boaters should be aware of tournament boats in the area, reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching event participants and not exceed 5 MPH.
