Western Erie Canal – Tonawanda

July 2, 2026

 

Mariners are advised of a fireworks display from Webster Street Bridge (E-248) in Tonawanda on Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th at dusk. The Canal in the vicinity of the bridge, including a 200-foot fallout and security radius around the bridge, will be closed to navigation at 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at approximately 10:15 p.m. after the event. Law enforcement will be present to monitor vessel traffic.
