Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Halfmoon

June 30, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that diving survey operations will occur directly above Champlain Canal Lock C-2 in Halfmoon on Wednesday, July 1^st.

The diving area will be marked by a dive boat and commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should reduce speed and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when transiting this area, and under no circumstances exceed 5 mph.
