Notice to Mariners

Western Erie Canal - Macedon

June 17, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-30 in Macedon will be closed to navigation at 8:00am on Thursday, June 18^th for diving activities in the lock chamber and surrounding area. Boaters should avoid approaching the lock. It is expected that the lock will reopen later in the day. An update will follow.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
