Western Erie Canal - Palmyra
June 11, 2026
Mariners are advised that a section of structural steel is hanging approximately 5 feet below Walworth Rd. Bridge (E-119) over the navigation channel. This bridge is located ¾ of a mile west of Erie Canal Lock E-29 in Palmyra. Boaters should approach the bridge with extreme caution. The New York State Department of Transportation has been notified. Updates will follow.
