Eastern Erie Canal - Waterford Flight
May 19, 2026
Mariners are advised that the Waterford Flight that was announced with a delayed reopening has reopened for navigation. Lock E-2 in the Waterford Flight is still only able to pass vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable lower gate. It is expected that Lock E-2 will be repaired and operating at full width on Thursday, May 20th at 8:00 am. Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly. Updates will follow.
