Mariners are advised that Cayuga-Seneca Canal Lock CS-4 in Waterloo that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners has reopened for navigation. The lock is only able to pass vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable upper gate until further notice. Boaters should approach the lock on the south side and moor on the south side.

Boaters may experience slight delays due to increased lock filling times. Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly. Updates will follow.
