Notice to Mariners

 Eastern Erie Canal – Amsterdam

September 25, 2025

 

Mariners are advised of underwater sampling occurring on Friday, September 26th, adjacent to the State Route 30 Bridge (E-19A) and Riverlink Park in Amsterdam. Sampling work will take place on the north side of the navigation channel.

Diving areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters must come to a full stop, use caution, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed, and under no circumstances exceed 5 mph.
