NOTICE TO MARINERS

Eastern Erie Canal – Scotia to Saint Johnsville

September 19, 2025

Mariners are advised that water levels the from Erie Canal Lock E-8 in Scotia to Lock E-16 in St. Johnsville

are 2 feet below the normal navigation level in some areas, due to lack of precipitation. Boaters with deeper draft vessels should use caution.
