Notice to Mariners

 Eastern Erie Canal – Amsterdam

September 12, 2025

 

 

Mariners are advised of bridge inspection activities beneath the Amsterdam Pedestrian Bridge (E-19B) over the Erie Canal on Monday, September 15^th. A skiff will be moving in the navigation channel beneath the bridge.

Boaters transiting this area must reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5mph.
