Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Flight

September 8, 2025

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-2 through Lock E-6, the Waterford Flight, will temporarily close to navigation for maintenance tomorrow, September 9^th, 2025, at noon with last locking allowed to enter eastbound or westbound at 11:00 a.m. Regular hours of operation will resume on Wednesday, September 10^th.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
