Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Flight

August 26, 2025

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-2 through Lock E-6, the Waterford Flight, will be temporarily closed to navigation on Wednesday, August 27th until noon, due to an underwater inspection of the Guard Gate Rd. Bridge (E-5), located at the top of the Flight.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
