Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal

August 11, 2025

 

Mariners are advised of underwater inspections occurring on the Oswego Canal on the following schedule:

• Thursday, August 14^th – Oswego Canal Lock O-2, (Fulton) – Approach walls and lock chamber.

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should stop all forward motion, use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than            

5 mph in these areas.
