Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Fort Edward to Smith’s Basin

August 10, 2025

 

Mariners are advised that Champlain Canal Lock C-7 in Fort Edward to Lock C-9 in Smith’s Basin is closed to navigation until further notice due to low water levels. Updates will follow.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.
