Notice to Mariners

Oswego Canal - Fulton

August 1, 2025

 

Mariners are advised of underwater inspections occurring on the Oswego Canal starting on the following schedule:

  • Wednesday, August 6th – Fulton Terminal, (Fulton) – Between Lock O-2 and Lock O-3.
  • Thursday, August 7th, – Power Forebay Wall at Lock O-3, (Fulton) – South of the lock. Lock O-3 Approach Wall – South of the lock.

 

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters should use caution and proceed at a "No Wake" speed of not more than 5 mph in this area.                               A chart showing the affected area can be found at:
