Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Rochester
July 17, 2025
Mariners are advised that both red and green buoys (Aids to Navigation) from the Genesee River Crossing of the Erie Canal to the Court Street Dam that have been reported off station due to strong currents from recent heavy rainfall.
Boaters should proceed with caution in this area of the Canal system. Crews have been notified. Updates will follow.
