Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Vischer Ferry

July 15, 2025

 

Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Lock E-7 in the Vischer Ferry is closed to navigation due to an electrical issue, until further notice.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly. Updates will follow.

The Canal Corporation urges all users and stakeholders to register to receive updates through the Notice to Mariners notification program by clicking here.
