Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal - Waterford Harbor

July 10, 2025

 

Mariners are advised that vehicle recovery operations are in progress below Erie Canal Lock E-2 in the Waterford Flight. Boaters should be aware of a crane mounted barge and workboats in the navigation channel, use caution when approaching the area and proceed at a "No Wake" speed and under no circumstances shall any vessel exceed 5 MPH.
