Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Court Street Dam

June 20, 2025

Mariners are advised that the boat denial line, on the Genesee River, located 0.1 mile south of the Court Street dam is damaged and not in place.  Boaters should use caution in this area and keep a minimum distance of 100’ from the south side of the Rt. I 490 bridge.  A follow up NTM will be issued once the boat denial line is repaired.
