Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Halfmoon

September 24, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that Champlain Canal Lock C-2 in Halfmoon is only able to pass vessels with a maximum beam of 21 feet due to an inoperable upper left gate. Crews have been notified.

Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly. Updates will follow.
