Notice to Mariners

Erie Canal – Cranesville

September 23, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that underwater core sampling operations are in progress below Erie Canal Lock E-10 in Cranesville and will continue until the end of the day on Thursday, September 24. Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching the sampling platform and passing through the lock.
