Notice to Mariners

Champlain Canal – Halfmoon

August 21, 2026

 

Mariners are advised that diving survey operations will take place above Champlain Lock C-2 in Halfmoon on Monday, August 24^th, and Tuesday, August 25^th.

The inspection areas will be marked by commercial diver’s flags while divers are in the water. Boaters must come to a full stop, use caution, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed, and under no circumstances exceed 5 mph.
