Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Tribes Hill
October 5, 2022
Mariners are advised of law enforcement diver training activities occurring on the Mohawk River in the vicinity of Erie Canal Lock E-12 in Tribes Hill on Thursday, October 6th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Law enforcement boats will be stationed on the perimeter of the training area.
Boaters should reduce speed, stop all forward motion, and proceed at a "No Wake" speed when approaching the area and be aware of participating vessels passing through the lock.
