Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Canajoharie to Little Falls
July 7, 2017
Mariners are advised that the following Erie Canal Locks remain closed while crews remove debris from canal structures from the recent heavy rainfall and runoff event:

E-14 Canajoharie

E-15 Ft. Plain
-
E-16 St. Johnsville
-
E-17 Little falls
It is unlikely that these locks will reopen during the weekend. The target date for reopening them Monday, July 10.
The rest of the New York State Canal System is open to navigation.
