Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Canajoharie to Herkimer

Mariners are advised that the following Erie Canal Locks remain closed while crews remove debris from canal structures from the recent heavy rainfall and runoff event:

E-14 Canajoharie

E-15 Ft. Plain
-
E-16 St. Johnsville
-
E-17 Little falls
-
E-18 Jacksonburg
Debris clearance and buoy resetting is still expected to take a few days. The rest of the New York State Canal System is open to navigation.
