Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Oneida Lake
October 24, 2023
Mariners are advised that the buoys on Oneida Lake are being removed for the season and replaced with smaller, ice-resistant spars of the same color marking their locations by Thursday, October 26th. Additionally, lighted navigational aids will be extinguished and removed for the season.

The Canal system closed to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
