Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Waterford Flight
September 29, 2023
Mariners are advised that Erie Canal Locks E-2 through E-6, Waterford Flight, will temporarily close to navigation on Monday, October 2nd, at 8:00 a.m. due to scheduled maintenance at Lock E-6. It is anticipated that the Flight will reopen at noon on the same day.
Boaters should plan their itineraries accordingly.

The Canal system is scheduled to close to navigation at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. All vessel operators should plan their trips to ensure they exit the system by that time.
