Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Frankfort to Whitesboro
August 5, 2023
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Lock E-19 in Frankfort to Lock E-20 in Whitesboro that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners has reopened to navigation.
Boaters should proceed with caution when traversing this area of the Canal due to the presence of heavy debris from recent heavy rainfall.
