Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Montgomery County
October 5, 2021
Mariners are advised of a rescheduled inspection of the River Rd. Bridge (E-27) over the Erie Canal in the Town of Minden that will be conducted on Wednesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 7.
Channel width may be reduced, and slight delays may occur due to a Bucket Boat and safety boat moving below the bridge. Inspectors should be contacted on Marine Channel 16 before proceeding. Boaters must reduce speed, stop all forward motion and proceed at a "No Wake" speed after receiving clearance to pass.
