Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal - Waterford Flight
July 1, 2021
Mariners are advised that the Waterford Flight, (Locks E-2 through E-6 and Guard Gate 2) will be operating on an extended schedule of 7:00 am to 10:00 pm for the July 4th holiday weekend. These temporary hours of operation will begin on Friday, July 2nd and continue through Sunday, July 4th.
Any vessel wishing to complete a transit through the Flight will need to arrive at Lock E-2 or Guard Gate 2 no later than 9:00 pm to guarantee passage through the entire Flight.
