Notice to Mariners
Erie Canal – Newark/Palmyra
June 23, 2021
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Lock E-28B in Newark and Lock E-29 in Palmyra that was announced as closed in a previous Notice to Mariners due to a downed powerline in the Canal, has reopened to navigation.
Adjustments to the height of the overhead powerline by the utility continue to be made during the day today and will have no effect on navigation.
